Kevin Jackvony was born and raised in Rhode Island, the oldest of three siblings. As part of a large, tight-knit Italian American family, his life was filled with grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family. Family events were always filled with food and laughter, as family members would always regale the crowd with fun and interesting stories of the past. This is where Kevin developed his love of good storytelling.
He is the father to three children and one stepchild, now adults. In his childhood, he was an avid reader who developed a love for fiction with intricate stories and complex characters, and even dabbled in writing a few stories of his own. Growing up with a love of science and a knack for conversation, he pursued a career in life science sales. His 35-year career allowed him to visit every corner of the United States and meet countless interesting people from across the globe. With the encouragement of his wife, Kristin, Kevin dusted off some of his old ideas for stories and began his second career as an author.
When he isn’t writing, Kevin enjoys cooking, gardening, the occasional city-building game, hiking, and travel adventures off the beaten path with his lovely bride. He and Kristin currently reside in rural Rhode Island and are building a home in the foothills of New Hampshire’s White Mountains.
